Once upon a time, there was a drab grey horse named Sparklepony. Sparklepony always heard stories about Unicorns, so one day he decided to become one. Sparklepony dashed out the from entrance of the farm when the gate was open to transport cows, and ran to the woods. Sparklepony ran and ran for hours, until eventually stumbling upon a sparkly rainbow path. Sparklepony knew that this path led to where the unicorns lived.
Sparklepony traveled the path at his leisure, talking to pink squirrels and shining bears on the way. Sparklepony didn't have to worry about running out of food on his journey, because the path was lined with ripe strawberry bushes to one side, and a clear stream on the other. After a week of travelling, Sparklepony came upon a huge castle made of crystals that projected rainbows when light shone through them. Sparklepony tried to get in, but a glittery sky blue unicorn guard stopped him. "Halt! What business do you have in the Unicorn kingdom?"
"I would like to become a Unicorn!"
"HEHEAHEAHEHEHEAHOHOHOHAHahHEEHEE Good luck with that!"
The guard let Sparklepony in, and Sparklepony had his hopes up that he would finally become a Unicorn!
Sparklepony walked in the gates, towards the Unicorn queen who was eating ice cream with the Unicorn King and Unicorn Princesses,"Your majesty! I need your help! I would like to become a unicorn too!"
The Unicorn Queen nodded, laughed, and licked all of her ice cream out of her ice cream cone without eating the cone. The Unicorn Queen beckoned Sparklepony closer, and placed the ice cream cone on his forehead. "Hahaha! You will never be a Unicorn! You have to be born a Unicorn!"
Sparklepony froze. The queen's explanation made sense. The guards let sparklepony out of the kingdom, and he sulked the whole way home
